The MVE CryoShipper series are Dewar vessels designed for the safe transportation of biological samples at cryogenic (-150C or lower) temperatures. The MVE CryoShipper series uses advanced QWick refueling technology, which allows you to refuel the system for storage in the vapor phase for 2 hours.
The vessels of the MVE CryoShipper series allow the transportation of frozen biomaterial in cryopackages, cryoprobes or straws, in nitrogen vapors without the risk of liquid nitrogen spillage and sample warming. Special porous cartridges in the inner vessel do not allow liquid nitrogen to leak out and protect the biomaterial from heating for several days. When the vessel is overturned, the absorbent prevents rapid leakage of liquid nitrogen, and the neck plug and lid keep straws, cryoprobes or cryopackages inside the vessel.
The MVE CryoShipper vessel is equipped with an electronic temperature logger PDF Logger.
The logger sensor is constantly located in the cavity with the biomaterials. Thus, it continuously measures the temperature in the vessel and gives sound signals when it falls below the established limits. So, the optimal temperature for transportation is from -196C to -150C, then the first control zone is from -149C to -130 and the second zone of increased control is from -129C to -115C.
